2005/04/18 Steps to a Creative MindInspired by an article in http://www.sciammind.com/ (the paper version) these exercises should help keep our mind creative:
Good luck. 2005/04/14 Cutting costs on the war on drugs/sexWe are all trying to cut costs in this days but today’s price goes to the guy that thought about the latest anti-drug commercial. With American budget shrinking ever so rapidly he managed to combine 2 bad commercials in one. The message is very simple really: Don’t do Ecstasy or you will get AIDS! Now that is genius. Fucked up… but Genius. Not only he is saying doing drugs is bad he is also saying that having sex is bad…. But wait… there is more! Having sex and doing drugs at the same times is going to make you die! Slowly. What more would you like? Now that is getting your money working hard! The next commercial they should have a girl doing drugs and having sex with a convict rapist while driving a car with a bottle of booze on her hand, spreading Ebola and crashing on to a nuclear reactor right under a statue of Jesus crying. Now…that is even more realistic and effective! 2005/04/13 Chocolate and the art of not growing upI was glad that Vlad brought some good no-sugar-added Ecuadorian chocolate today because I need the extra energy to play a long soccer (Football!) game. Nothing better then some chocolate and a good game with friends to make you feel alive! The problem is when you stop and you realize that you have coughed out all your longs and you might need prosthetics to walk back home... but who got the time for pain!? Life is too short... even if you eat a lot of chocolate. 2005/02/13 Movies that you are not allowed to see in AmericaSome friend pointed me at this movie. Warning adult content: “Spanish actress turned director María Lidón’s drama, based on the best-selling novel by Isabel Pisano, blends fact and fiction in an effort to give a glimpse into the world of prostitution. Daryl Hannah, Denise Richards, and Joaquim de Almeida star. Is this a case where morals supersedes freedom of expression or is it just an artifact of religion and economics? BTW: I like the song (trailer 4). |
